Harvick, McMurray fined for Talladega altercation

05/02/2007 - Daytona Beach, FL (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - NASCAR has fined Nextel Cup drivers Kevin Harvick and Jamie McMurray $25,000 apiece and placed each on probation for an altercation during this past Sunday's race at Talladega Superspeedway.

The probationary period runs through October 3 of this year.

The altercation came during the final caution period on the white-flag lap.

McMurray wound up finishing fifth on Sunday, just ahead of Harvick.
